Team Ice Fire are Britains long distance sled dog racing team who compete in world class racing events. We are based in The Cambrian mountains in Wales. Welcome to our newly refurbished website which we hope you will enjoy browsing, and finding out what we are about. The team are currently in training and looking forward to competive racing again this season and plans are already being formulated to compete in Europe this winter. The team are having a year off from long distance racing, and are turning their attention to sprint racing. That is where the team cut their teeth!!!!! Team Ice Fire is owned and run by Nick Evans who has over 23 years experience in owning, training and racing Greenland dogs. Nick has completed expeditions in the Arctic along with spending months in Scandinavia, Europe and North America. He currently manages his kennels with his wife Esther, at the entrance to the Hafren Forest high up in The Cambrian Mountains. Although Nick and Esther both work full time their love for the dogs and their passion for racing is a lifestyle choice.
