Team Ice Fire are Britains long distance sled dog racing team who compete in world class racing events. We are based in The Cambrian mountains in Wales. Welcome to our newly refurbished website which we hope you will enjoy browsing, and finding out what we are about. The team are currently relaxing over the summer months but are looking forward to competive racing again next season and plans are already being formulated to prepare for that level of world class competition. The British Team would also like to thank all our sponsors, friends, family and all the people who have given us their support.
Team Ice Fire is owned and run by Nick Evans who has over 23 years experience in owning, training and racing Greenland dogs. Nick has completed expeditions in the Arctic along with spending months in Scandinavia, Europe and North America. He currently manages his kennels with his wife Esther, at the entrance to the Hafren Forest high up in The Cambrian Mountains. Although Nick and Esther both work full time their love for the dogs and their passion for racing is a lifestyle choice.
