OUR AIMS

Team Ice Fire's ultimate aim is to compete in world class long distance sled dog races against the top teams from Scandinavia, Europe and North America.

2010-2011

Our aim this winter is to build and develop our young dogs and to get them prepared to join a seasoned racing team. We will use this winter to establish new lead dogs, and to support a transitional stage with the dogs as youngsters gradually replace veterans. As some of our veterans are close to retirement, they will help the youngsters to gain confidence and vital experience.

The intension for 2011 is to be ready to return to the long distance racing scene in Europe, and to again establish ourselves with the world's best teams. Also we are developing an opportunity for people to come and buy a sled dog day with us in Wales, and to experience the shear thrill of running sled dogs.

Sponsorship

The other aim the team are working towards is to continue developing our relationship with our current sponsors, whilst building new relationships with British and European sponsors. The team are also looking to continue with their good relationship with the worldwide media and television. Nick continues with his motivational speaking and after dinner speeches, whilst continuing to write magazine articles on a regular basis.

The team continue to strive towards providing a British pedigree in the competitive world of top flight Sled Dog Racing!
